Requirements
- The ideal tutor will have at least 18 credit hours in his or her subject area; education majors preferred, but not required.
- A preference is given to tutors who hold graduate degrees; undergraduate degrees are required for all in-home tutoring programs (exceptions are made for our reading groups program).
- Transcripts must reflect minimum GPA of 3.0 overall and 3.3 in degree program
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must comply with professional standards and reporting requirements of the company
- Must enjoy working with children and teens and be patient, personable and creative.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and mobile phone and have reliable transportation.
- Must work will with different people in a variety of environments.
